Wayne is one of the most overrated rappers of our time. He caught on fire during a time when rap was hitting its downturn and it ain’t truly bounce back. Who was his competition when he was really doing his thing? Huey? Mims? Mike Jones? Fabo?

Yes when Jay, X, Eminem, NaS…..and every other rapper was out…..and the qualifications for great lyricism wasn’t as potent. Rap has been at a downslide Since then and it ain’t recover
