Not too surprising, after WWII, many Nazi officers and collaborators fled there. They fled to Argentina, but also to Brazil, Columbia and many others. Every couple of years, you hear about troves being uncovered. It's because somebody wouldn't shut up about their grandfather's SS rank. The ironic part is that white supremacists don't even claim them.
Argentina has alot of people who came from Germany and Italy. If you see a latino with an Italian name they're usually Argentinian like Manu Ginobli. They're racist as fuck and typically very open about it towards Black folks from anywhere
