Yes you would too in that kirk Franklin situation (in context). You said it, "respectfully" if the son wasn't being respectful..then what you expect would happened.

(he did say the son was being disrespectful...eventhough we do not know the whole story)

Especially coming from your dad if he has been there raising you right and YOU decided to be disrespectful.

On the street is on the street. If you disrespected someone they aren't gonna be so diplomatic with you. Same as you wouldn't be with them.

I don't need context. If the son disrespected first. Kirk could've just ended the phone conversation instead doing all the shit he did. If Kirk disrespected the son first the son could've just ended the conversation. That is why I don't need context. A person, I don't care if it's my parent disrespecting me the convo is over ain't shit else to talk about.

Ain't no especially coming from my dad. "Dad" is a title. I'm a man before I'm his son just like he a man before he my father. I ain't tolerating disrespect from anybody. Whether that be in the streets, home or the fucking family reunion. It's not an option.

Look you do you. I know life doesn't work how you describe it in alot of ways. You saying how you wouldn’t tolerate nobody disrespecting you and that makes sense, but again what you EXPECT IF YOU DISRESPECTED SOMEONE?

not everyone is wired to just "walk away" especially if you are the person that is in the wrong. But go ahead.

I don't have kids, but I understand where you're coming from. As good as I was, even at 16 (I call it the peer pressure age) I started to become rebellious a little bit for a moment until I got in trouble one time then I straighten back up again. Even right now, my 23 year old nephew be running wild. My brother did all he can do. I tried to give him the most sound advice as well. He'll agree with it but won't apply it. It come to the point that life has to humble him. At which, he is in some trouble right now, so hopefully this situation make him straighten up

Again you need context cause you're picking a side. I don't need context because I'm speaking in general and don't care who is right or wrong in the situation between Kirk and his son.

It's not about someone walking away or not. As said before we either going to speak respectfully or fight if the situation is between 2 men. A woman I'm walking away. If I disrespect someone 9 times out of 10 I did the shit on purpose and willing to deal with the reaction cause I wanted a reaction. That 1 time its not on purpose hopefully its addressed in a manner I can see the error of my way cause it wasn't on purpose. If not then I gotta deal with the consequences of my disrespect of said person.

First off, I wouldn't speak to my child like that, regardless of age. I'm the elder and I don't lower myself to my child's status.

Secondly, children are a reflection of your parenting. I know kids can be little fuck niggas even with good parents, but the parent's influence is still there. What is he if his son is a bitch ass nigga?

And Kirk is a hypocrite because he supposedly follows the teachings of Christ and the paramount law is love and forgiveness for which there is no statute of limitation. This convo demonstrated neither. And this wasn't the first time he's done this, let's be clear.

Son wasn't right either for recording it, but I hold parents to a higher standard.

I’m close with someone that knows the family. I’m not gon call him a kid because he’s in his 30s but that man is a fuck up and his pops is still there trying to help.

That didn't sound like anger, that sounded like general ridicule. Wasn't somebody laughing in the background on Kirk's side?

And every kid is different. Can't raise them all the same.

I'm not dismissing the son's role in this, I'm holding Kirk to a higher standard given he's the father and the evangelist.

I think that matters when dealing with cases that pertain to narcissism.

Kirk obviously made that man the center of his world regardless of connotations... This is the consequences of doing so.
