Yeah when folks have these conversations they tend to think within their tax bracket. Those kids aren't doing normal kid shit. Those rich kid private schools alone cost 10s of thousands a year so it makes sense that if your kids live a certain way and you gotta contribute half to that then your costs would be higher than the average person
