Netflix jeen-yuhs: A Kanye Trilogy

Donda (rip.) was so cool ... There was a peacefulness to her

I felt good watching this cos I've been a Kanye fan right from the very first time I heard 'Through The Wire' on the radio ... One night whilst I was still in Africa 2004...

One thing I took from this doc is perseverance: both from Coodie and Ye ...

Coodie giving his time for roughly two decades to film another man and Ye never giving up on getting a record deal or changing his art to fit in ...

This is now strange in retrospect considering someone he was or is close to was behind the creation of the documentary
Yeah shits kinda unfair considering they were close to him for so long. It seems like he's backed off trying to have final cut of the doc tho?

Reminds me of when that Lil Wayne documentary QD3 filmed came out and Birdman and Wayne were causing issues with it because it showed wayne on the syrup and shit

Roc a fella was really tryna play Kanye to the left

its crazy man

They found out quick tho

In Act 1 when Ye and his crew attended that Rocafella party, they looked like party crashers...

Jay-Z who already had The Blueprint out with Ye's production just gave him a brief hand shake like ...

Watch The Throne would be released years later...
