Tried listening to a Cole album before. I won't do that again. He is Nyquil for me. I don't even know why. I think he's a legit rapper. He just bores me.
The response was solid though. It was one of those disses where what he said and how he said it were both dope, but the diss didn't make a whole lot of sense in context of reality. Whether you like Cole or not, I think it's fair to say that he's never had the popularity that Kendrick has had. So dropping a diss that's themed like "You're desperately throwing shots at me because I'm popping and nobody's checking for you" is kinda weird.
