OUT NOW J. Cole - KOD

Still processing everything but I think my favorite moment of the album might be when the drums kick in on Window Pain

After a weekend’s worth of listens I’ll admit this album has grown on me...although I liked it after my initial listen I felt like it was gonna get boring to me (no Cole pun intended)...and while I did go on to listen to Smoke Dza’s new album and then gave my niggaz FBZ a few more plays...I went back to KOD and was surprised to realize as song after song started to play I was anxious for tha next track and even replaying certain songs before letting it ride again...I guess I’m late but pretty strong album by Cole

You mad late lil man
You sure?

Was this apart of the 7 min one that was dropped that you said was funny but too long?

Could've sworn this was a newer one

Nah, it’s apart of the longer one
Ah

I didn't watch the entire thing either

That cat can be funny but I ain't about to watch 7 min of him forcing shit after the initial wave of laughs

Fuck I’m ready to be irrational

Classic

Its an ok album.....way better than the last one but the one thing I don't like about Cole at this point is just his energy.....it's like he's constantly sad and speaking out about something but I'd like to see and feel more upbeat vibes and happiness from Cole....and just spit......thought he'd rap his ass off over some doper hip hop beats but I get it he's found his niche audience/ lane and rather than drive forward and expand it he keeps it in neutral

And stop the fucking singing

J. Cole’s fifth album, KOD, has broken Apple Music’s record for streams in the first 24 hours in the US with 64.5 million streams on its first day, Apple tells The Verge. KOD surpassed the previous record holder, Drake’s Views, by nearly 1 million streams. Seven out of the top 10 most streamed songs in a 24-hour period on Apple Music are now from KOD.

Yall wanna 2 step and Kappa shimmy stroll, go listen to some Lil Yatchy, Migos, and Dram. He ain't gon please everybody, he ain't for everybody, which is fine.
