Then when I got older in life and heard it I processed it more and still was like nah.. but as I've gotten older older I see that shit is true and has always been true. I know it's been said before, but..........technically speaking.............Charlize Theron and Elon Musk are literally African-Americans.

Simply because they were both born in South Africa and are now American citizens.

And yeah, Africans don't look at us as Africans at all.

They just see us as Black Americans.

I’ve had this same question as an African living in the US.
I’ve heard this same thing multiple times too.

I remember about two years ago I was taking a co-worker home and he mentioned how he’s been told that Africans don’t mess with Black Americans, but then over the weeks every story he’s told me about his interactions with Africans were positive.
