It's the same with 9/11. When you talk to some of these people and explain to them that Al Queda was able to recruit because the U.S. has done a lot of fucked up things in the Middle East, people will accuse you of trying to justify that event. They don't get that we're supposed to learn from our lesson. We don't. That's why the U.S. is our here using drone strikes that kill civilians at like an 80% rate. How long until we have another 9/11? How long do people think you can be vicious to other people without those people coming back and being vicious to you?
Israel is the worst. They do pretty much everything they can to make life terrible for the Palestinians. It should basically be expected that some nastiness is going to come back. The Hamas cats out there killing children and shooting up music festivals are disgusting animals, but Israel's bad actions are what created and empowered them. If Israel wasn't treating the Gaza Strip like an open air prison, Hamas might not even exist.
