What's even more ignorant is them thinking he shouldn't get paid.
It's signs of an even bigger problem in their way of thinking.

When you do for self, when you take on a venture, it requires capital.
Money to start it and money to sustain it.
Loans, fundraisers, donations, food drives, pay check after pay check, etc are all legal, moral, and ethical methods.
EVERY business, organization, and/or charity, has used one, if not all, of those methods.
And the one(s) doing the leg work, deserve to be compensated for it.
And if they're able to make a living off it and devote their lives to it, that's a great thing.
Why punch a clock, dragging away at some job you hate, if you don't have too?

People sound retarded thinking being pro-black means being poor.
Nothing, not even charity work, is free.
The money to support those efforts has to come from somewhere.
Damn near nothing can survive off good intentions alone.
Supporting black business, means $$$upporting black business.

Of course this kind of works deserves compensation. MLK and Malcolm X died with hundreds of thousands of dollars which could equate to millions today with inflation.
