The hype surrounding Wayne from 2006 until the Carter 3 was crazy. Canibus run from 96 to his debut reminds me of a poor man’s version of that. At least The Carter 3 somewhat delivered though.

No. But for its time it was a good album. Didn’t age well. But did what it needed to do at the time. Wayne gets an extra points for having to redo the album a million times bc of leaks. I think if the leaks didn’t happen and the version he intended to put out was the one that went out. It woulda been a MUCH better album. Imagine “feel like dyin” “something you forgot” n some of those other tracks being in there instead of “phone home” etc
