This is probably the biggest issue. Same with 0. Alot of stuff that can happen in math with imaginary numbers cant happen in real life so its hard to wrap your head around stuff sometimes.

That's why we can't under value great teachers capable of explaining what they teach. Too often in school was I told something was a rule in math, just because, but the explaination was not always there or the explaination left questions of its own to be explained.
I get it, science is complex, but instead of all the intelligent people choosing to stand on a pedestal or manipulate people for money, we can actually put some real effort into educating people...but I believe the simple answer is that the United States is too racist and too prejudice for this country to fully invest in education. They won't do it at the risk of elevating the wrong group beyond where they want them to be.
How much of our science is bullshit because it benefits one group over another? How many people have been called crazy or murdered before their scientific claims became accepted? We don't know what we don't know because so many of the writers of history were on the side of the conqueror.

Alot of this also happens because we are taught math but not really taught math.
Like you go to school and learn 1+1=2, then 1x=5, solve for x etc etc
But were never taught why. Math is built on Euclids Postulates. But were never taught Euclid Postulates, even though these are the 5 things that make 1+1=2.
With that, you end up having these situations where when someone explains why 1+1 isnt 2, you believe him cause you have no idea what hes actually counter arguing cause we were never taught these things in school.
folks ask why scientists just laugh off folks like Terrance Howard, and its because scientists have an understanding of Euclids 5 postulates, and 2500 years of experiments proving them, so when someone says nah they wrong, they laugh at them not knowing the public doesnt have access to the knowledge they do.

And btw, im not saying Euclids postulates are right or wrong. Im not smart enough, and Non-Euclidian math had been a thing for centuries, and at the theoretical and atomic physics level Non-Euclidian math has even been proven to exist (meaning lines arent straight and they bend)
My only point here is that Euclids postulates are what math is based on, and folks has numerous experiments and thousands of books written from the BCs till now proving that his 5 postulates are right.
Every year technology allows an even deeper experiment to be done to disprove Euclid, and it always gets proven right.
Except at the molecular level. And thats why you can say fuck math and physics cause how you gonna contradict yourself?

I mean just 0 itself.
In math you can take something that exists and add something that doesnt exist to it (0). And this would be ok in math. 3+0=3. But in the real world you cant add nothing to something cause nothing does not exist. You cant have nothing of something. How can you add 3 apples with 0 apples. 0 apples isnt a thing. You can cut an apple down and have half an apple, a quarter of an apple, 1/3000000th of an apple, but you cant have 0 apple in real life.
Space is the closest thing in the real world we have to the concept of 0, and even then there is energy in every molecule of space so its still not 0.
