idk if I agree with this. black ppl r more likely to take care of extended relatives n such. informal adoption purely out of moral obligation is very common in the black community. black ppl r less likely to go to nursing homes n shit in old age too.

young black athletes who r the only ones to make it big in their families seem to lose their wealth quickly sometimes too, wldn't be surprised if its cuz of feeling obliged to many relatives n friends.

I think it's a "rose by another name" thing. moral obligation seems to = forced in some ppls minds, n yes we do love our freedom lol.
