Welcome To aBlackWeb

How much y’all light bill this month?

Ain't no way in hell. Unless you live there by yourself and keep every room dark.

Me, my wife, 5 kids. Central AC, electric washer and dryer, microwave, fridge, air fryers, ceiling fans, outdoor lights too.

I live in Ohio. We have First Energy. They were recently sold to another company and a bunch of smaller energy companies bought up any of their customers who simply signed up. If you didn't sign up with one of the new energy providers by a certain date then your First Energy bill would've increased by 150% so more than double. All you had to do was pick a new energy provider. First Energy provides the power and the new company you picked provides the energy. The new energy companies provide the energy at a fixed rate for 12 months guaranteed so your energy consumption would never increase by more than $6.77 per kWh.

First Energy alos had a big scandal in the Ohio House of Representatives and their reputation was so bad that The Browns removed their name from the stadium. It was called First Energy Stadium and now it's just Cleveland Browns Stadium. They're down bad and so are their prices.

@DOS_patos you still looking into the ecoflow joints or you pulled the trigger on them yet?

I see they got a new portable AC/Heater.

Considering getting one of them joints for when the power goes out.. it's spos to run on the battery for like 8 hours and it only takes 2 hours to charge.

Thinking about maybe using it regularly on battery so my main AC isnt constantly running. I figure it might save some bread on my light bill. Still waiting for ecoflow to go public so I can invest

Good looking.

I didn’t buy nothing yet. I’m still trying to research the wind/solar hybrid for charging a battery. Crazy sunlight and crazy wind from the ocean where I am…..just seems like such a waster ti not take advantage of it.

I’ll look into what you posted.
