5 because I like to go snorkeling and diving but haven't actually gone to the beach in years. Seen way too many shark movies/shows/documentaries that I wouldn't do it unless there was a bunch of people in the water lol

A few years ago, I was out way past the 5 area, on a dope ass beach in Thailand. I basically just kept going further until it started to feel dangerous, then turned back.

I know someone who drowned because of a rip current. Horrible.

The proper way to escape the current (swimming along the shoreline rather than towards the shore) isn't common knowledge. And if you don't know how to swim and the thing drags you under it might just be too late.
