That's not what I'm criticizing though.
The tweet implies there is an inconsistency that isn't really there. Again, most of the people arguing against certain guns for teens also don't want those teens saddled with student loan debt.

That depends really. Even now it would probably be smarter for a lot of people to go to community college for one or two years to knock out electives at a cheaper rate and then transfer to a major university to get into the core classes.

People don’t care about facts and stats bruh. All they care about is being able to buy as many guns and as many rounds of ammo they can.People have to stop this. Yes, it's 100% true that guns are not the root cause for the problems that lead to gun violence. No one is suggesting that enacting stricter gun laws will solve all of America's problems. The point being made is that even with all those problems in place, you can't have mass shootings if you don't have guns available to the shooters. Just look at this shit:
That's a crazy disparity. You don't think there are bullied and disenfranchised kids in the UK? You don't think there are mentally ill people in Finland? You don't think Germany has pissed off right wingers that want to cause havoc? Yet, none of those countries have even a tenth or in many cases a hundredth of the shootings we do. Why not? It's not possible for any asshole with a grievance to walk over to the local gun store in the morning and be shooting little kids by the afternoon.
That discrepancy between us and other countries is staggering. If that were blacks killed by police officers compared to other countries and those other countries defunded the police it would be us saying “defund the police” and they’d be saying “we don’t need to defund the police, let’s focus on the mental health of those that might kill blacks.”

Honestly, if we want gun reform, all we have to do is put that chart up and then say black people should start buying more guns to protect themselves from the police. I bet we'd see some changes to the laws real quick. lol

And the reason police kill so many people is because they see their gun as a license to kill. The gun is their first resort. Cops in some countries don’t even have a gun. They have to call in a special squad.
