Because there's such a lack of Black girls/women being portrayed in STEM fields that they will grab a hold of anything that does it regardless of how bad it may be. And I get that wholeheartedly, 'cause I can't remember the last time I've seen a Black man being portrayed in the same way until Ironheart... and he's a gay "they/them", which really ticks me off. I mean High Evolutionary was in GOTG 3, but they never showed him create in the same way they're showing RiRi.

Streams have been manipulated for years. Do you not remember the pics of the Chinese streaming farms with people sitting in front of racks of cellphones? It's even easier to inflate streams these dsys.
 
The world changing, and if you can't keep up... You not going to know who these celebs are...I can't tell y'all who they are... Cuz I don't keep up either.

I ask my teenager who someone is at least twice a week. Just face it the world isn't going to cater to us

Streams and live shows. People not going to physically buy records and streaming has distorted album sales. They do translate just not in the way we grew up seeing them translate

Where were those racists and sexists when Ms Marvel got an 80%??? And that shit's got an extra layer on top of it called "Islam", so the hate should have been raging.

You do know that Ms. Marvel was review bombed too on IMDB and there were plenty of articles written about it right? It was a good show, but it suffered the same thing alot of shows led by non white men suffer when it came to some people reviewing it. Even reviews specifically speaking to it having Islam in it.

That doesn't negate the negative review bombing. It just means 1 site got a better handle on it than the other did. And even RT has had to shut their comments down before over similar issues. So much so they changed how reviews are done on their site.
