Has Generation Z Produced Anybody Great At Anything?

They have planted the seed that being talented is not to be rewarded but being meh should be

That’s what they are good at

Self Made Billionaire Kylie???

Kylie Jenner, who's modeling career happened only because of the reality show, the family's famous name, it's wealth, and her mother's helping hand (quite literally the face of nepotism), that never so much as made a single shade of lipstick or lip gloss and basically signed a deal to put her name and face on products she didn't create???

If that's what you want to call "self made", then... yeah... her.

Nigga I'm trolling. Nothing self made about her. It was a whole thing couple years back when their was a magazine cover called her that when she got a billion after her fans helped her sell out of her cosmetics to reach it lol

Every generation gets more watered down if we’re being honest. Why do you think Boomers didn’t respect Rap music? It’s because the R&B and Rock music back in the 50’s, 60’s and 70’s required the ability to sing and play instruments. Rap music was born out of extreme poverty and lack of opportunity. And Rap was the first genre of music to embrace ghetto pathology on a high level. I’m an older millennial at 42, we loved Rap music because that’s what we knew since birth. And for my age group we were born into a fucked up world already with Reaganomics and the crack epidemic being the backdrop of our childhood especially for us that grew up in the hood. So all that fucked up shit was the norm for us. And shit is even more fucked up with Gen Z in some ways because we have witnessed epic levels of social decay in the past 5 years.

But even millennials were more watered down compared to Gen X. Dropping whole classic albums was the norm for Gen Z rappers and singers. There are only a few millennial rappers or singers who have whole classic albums that can compare to the shit that was coming out in the 80’s and 90’s.

Who is the millennial Pac? It ain’t Kendrick. He’s not on Pac level. Be real. Who’s the millennial Michael Jackson? Drake? Chris Brown? What a joke. Who’s the millennial Michael Jordan? Lebron? Eh, maybe I guess.

But that works for other generations too. Who is the Gen X Isley Brothers? Who is the Gen X Bruce Lee? Who is the Gen X Malcolm X? You could say Pac, but Pac was an entertainer at the end of the day, Pac could have reached Malcolm’s level of he didn’t die.

What's funny, tho, is that Hip Hop, on a purely technical level, is "boomer music". The architects of hip hop, Grandmaster Flash, Melle Mel, Africa Bambaataa, the members of the Sugar Hill Gang, the Treacherous Three, Run DMC, Newcleus, and a bunch of others, are all Baby Boomers (though RunDMC missed being GenX by one year). Boomers were hating on their own music when you look at it that way.

When it comes to music, and I've said this in another thread, there's a level of artistry that has all but disappeared from popular music over the years. Back inna day there were actual bands on the radio and everywhere else and there was a whole creative process that led to the creation of music that still holds up as some of the best ever made. 70's, 80's, 90's, and briefly in the 2000's had actually great music being made. Very little music being made in the last 15-20 years hits the same way as the older shit largely because it's all about a quick buck and doing the same shit as the last big hit.

The WNBA players are some haters.

She was voted the 9th best guard in the entire league. Which is MAGA level lies

Instead of embracing the reason the league is getting views they are actively working against it.

In the beginning of the what the ratings was high (mainly for her games) but soon as she got hurt rating across the league dropped like 70%

She wasn't voted 9th best. It was the accumulation of votes that put her there. They didn't just write 9th by her name. Also she hasn't been having a good season, look at her numbers, and been injured for half of it. She'll most likely bounce back the latter half but so far she's been mediocre this year

She boosted it...but the wave of women's basketball from the NCAA to the WNBA has been growing for a while.
