Exactly. Alot of people complain about things meant for a younger audience and can't conceive of a world where they aren't the "youth". Again social media has created an environment where older people are still so connected to younger people that socially they think they should still mix and they shouldn't.

Well if tiktok is their medium for getting it out there then thats what it is. People once talked about podcasts like some odd shit and now podcasts literally helped determine a presidential election. Every generation has their medium and tiktok is it for Gen Z

I get it, TikTok dance videos are generating bread. But where are the superstars who our parents and kids will recognize like the people mentioned earlier in this post?

When sites have to disable ratings before a show even drops because racists and sexists are spamming negative reviews that definitely skews those percentages.

And that is where you are playing "the main character", 'cause the general consensus so far is that it's not very good.

Again, can't say it's because it's because it's female led because Wandavision (87%), Agatha All Along (83%), and Ms Marvel (80%) are all highly rated and have female leads. Even Jessica Jones has an overall 80% approval rating.
 
Mike Tyson came out in a time when top American boxers were automatically A list celebrities. Being the champ held weight. My mother can't name 10 current boxers.

In fact most people would struggle to name 10n current champions.

90% of the posts on boxing groups on Facebook still make daily posts about Floyd Mayweather.

The stage has changed. Unless you're completely engaged with social media... You aren't going to catch this generation of stars until they make crossovers into what you pay attention to. There is an answer, I just don't have it cuz I'm not in the know

Think about how people consume their entertainment. It used to be a family affair so you kind of had no choice. You had to listen to the music your parents did. You had to watch their shows. Now everyone got a tv and music player on them at all times so you don't have to listen to or watch the same shit. That has had a huge effect on this too. A huge part of the reason millennials and previous generations know the shit we do is because we were the last generation that grew up having to share entertainment with our parents and older family members

I just said it...it's because how we consume things changed. You used to have to sit in the car and be forced to listen to your parents music or vice versa. Now not so much.

Why aren't the music metrics translating? If they have as big of an audience as youre saying, why aren't they selling?
