I was just on the phone with an old friend of mine while she was driving from somewhere east of Detroit. She drove past a Marathon gas station on 10 Mile sellin for 89 cents a gallon. She turned her ass around and filled up her tank for $19, and she said she had to top it off to get to $19 'cause it was full at just over $18.
Last time I saw gas at $.89 a gallon was in 1991. There was a Sunoco over on 6 mile near Livernois that had that 86 octane sub-regular gas for that price.
She's sending over a pic of that price as soon as she gets to the crib.

That was last April. IIRC, around that time the price of crude oil had tanked, so gas prices dropped like a brick.
