But I've gone through my mans phone after he gave it to me to look at something. Seen he had all kinda tabs open and realized they were all porn. Looked at every tab to see what he was into lol. Nothing weird. That's all I was hoping for. He was sitting right there while I did it though, not like it was sneaky.

If it's on some sneak shit, then no.

Chicks that snoop through a nigga phone don't trust him to begin with so why are they with dude.

I picked up my wife phone by mistake one day which means she had mine, I got it back later that day with no text messages opened and no form of snooping and the same with me with her phone.
 
not that i have anything to hide, but its one thing if you wanna see it just to peep out a couple of apps or something, or even if you wanna see who im texting, but dont read my group texts with my boys and expect me to talk about it

I dont read your texts to your girls and ask you stuff about it b/c what if they are sharing something personal?

But seriously, hubby and I have passwords on our phones. mine because I have to for what I do for work and his because we don't want it to get in the hands of the kids due to our um.. pictures. But we know one another's passwords and we hide nothing from one another.

Trust, as many of you stated, plays a large part in why women snoop.

I don't care for the FB thing much so for me it doesn't matter. However, if he "refuses" now that is a different story. Why would he?
At that point it would seem like he is hiding something.

That's where I kinda wanna get at. Why does one feel the other is "hidimg" something? That seems like the go to default answer.

Is it really that unbelievable that maybe the other person just...don't want to? Why can't it be that simple?

One can argue that changing your status is just as simple. Why is it such a problem? and if you are in a relationship and your S/O would like for you to change that, why not just change it?

Give me one good reason, other than "i don't want to". and even if that is your response, WHY do you not want to. There is always a why love. lol

Hmmm...easy.

Cuz it's my FB, and I can do what I want with it. That comes with the territory when you're grown. Lol.

So if a guy or girl refuses to change it b/c they don't want to, does that mean the relationship is over? And if so, why?
 
It's about principle. Like Reese said, if they're not willing to do something as small as change a fb status, then wtf are they willing to do? In relationships you sometimes gotta do things you might not wan't to, to please your s/o, it's about compromise and if it's something that small, it shouldn't even be an issue.
