Michael Moore Shares Raw Footage of Suspected Mail Bomber at Trump Rally

On Sunday, documentarian Michael Moore shared an outtake from his movie Fahrenheit 11/9 showing suspected mail bomber Cesar Sayoc at a Trump rally in Melbourne, Florida.

Previously, CNN had aired footage of Sayoc holding up ‘CNN Sucks’ signs.

Moore’s footage, however, pans a number of ardent Trump fans before briefly focusing on Sayoc as one in the crowd at the rally taunting the media and shouting pro-Trump rhetoric.

Commenting on the footage, Moore wrote this: “Our footage of Mr. Sayoc would never make it into the final cut of what would be the film that is now in its last week in cinemas across America, but I’d like to share it with you, if only to give you a momentary glimpse of him in action (all are free to use this video and share it).”

He added: “You’ve seen the photos of him on the news over the past couple days — a slight, normal, everyday American. But those are from before. Here with our footage I can show you what he had actually become — overdosed on steroids in what looks like some desperate attempt to hang on to what was left of his manhood.”

Judicial Watch Director Barred As Fox News, Fox Business Guest After Soros Conspiracy


Chris Farrell, the director of investigations and research at Judicial Watch, the conservative activist group, will no longer appear as a guest on Fox News or Fox Business Network, a spokesperson for the networks confirmed to TPM Sunday.

The blacklisting followed the re-airing Saturday of a Thursday interview between Farrell and Fox Business Network’s Lou Dobbs. In the interview, a clip of which went viral Saturday after the Pittsburgh synagogue massacre, Farrell described the State Department as “Soros-occupied” and said George Soros was indirectly paying migrants and asylum seekers traveling toward the U.S.-Mexico Border. The comment was widely seen as an anti-Semitic dog whistle

“We condemn the rhetoric by the guest on Lou Dobbs Tonight,” Fox Business Network’s senior vice president of programming, Gary Schreier, said in a statement shared with TPM Sunday. “This episode was a repeat which has now been pulled from all future airings.”

The Fox News spokesperson told TPM that Schreier had “confirmed Farrell will no longer be booked on FBN [Fox Business Network] or FNC [Fox News Channel].

Soros — the liberal philanthropist and donor, and a frequent target of right-wing conspiracy mongering and anti-Semitism — was the first of many critics of President Donald Trump’s to receive a pipe bomb in the mail in recent days; the bombs never exploded and their alleged sender, Cesar Sayoc, was arrested Friday.

Judicial Watch did not immediately respond to a request for comment.

CNN’s Oliver Darcy first reported the blacklisting Sunday. He pointed out separately that both Farrell and Dobbs have a history of vilifying Soros.

Departure of Campbell Soup Lobbyist ‘Accelerated’ After He Tweeted About Soros-Caravan Conspiracy


A Campbell Soup lobbyist’s exit from the company was sped up after his tweets promoting a conspiracy theory claiming George Soros was behind the migrant caravan heading for the U.S., was reported on by CNN.

Kelly Johnston, who served as the vice president for government affairs, tweeted last Monday that Soros’ Open Society Foundation had organized “rail cars” and “troop carriers” to help the caravan, which originated in Central America just over two weeks ago.

While Johnston has now deleted his account, The New York Times‘ Kenneth Vogel got a screenshot of the post, which accused the foundation of even planning “where [migrants] defecate.”



At first, the company chose to distance itself from the remarks of its lobbyist, stating on Tuesday, “The opinions Mr. Johnston expresses on Twitter are his individual views and do not represent the position of Campbell Soup Company,” according to CNN.

By Sunday, CNN Business reported that it was told by a company spokesperson that the date of Johnston’s exit, which had been expected, was moved up.

“In the last few days, the company and Mr. Johnston have agreed that under the current circumstances it would be best to accelerate the timing of his departure,” the spox said.

Thursday was his final workday there.

Yet Another Suspicious Package Addressed To CNN Intercepted

Another suspicious package addressed to CNN was intercepted on Monday, according to the network’s president, Jeff Zucker.

It’s not yet confirmed whether this latest suspicious package was also sent by Cesar Sayoc, who is alleged to have sent a wave of pipe bombs in recent days, including those addressed to James Clapper and John Brennan. CNN is headquartered in Atlanta. Sayoc was arrested Friday.
