They've been jacking the prices up significantly since the ACA was implemented.
It was raising before that annually, but in way smaller increases.
My shit got up to the 300's monthly as a single, healthy, non-smoking person.
Shits why I always looked at folks crazy praising "Obamacare".
Your best bet now, cost wise, is getting it through your job if your situation allows.
 
I have a health insurance plan, as I have a stable cold monthly. I decided it would be much cheaper to pay for it through insurance than for visits. Each health insurance plan enters into contracts with certain doctors and hospitals. The services of doctors and hospitals not part of the network of plan providers can cost you quite a lot. I advise you to check whether the doctors whose services you use are included in the network of plan providers if you have not yet chosen a plan. I have had Blue Cross, Humana, and now Priority Health. The American health system is ridiculous and Idk why dental isn't included in some insurance plans. When I was with Humana last year, I had to pay extra for dental benefits b/c it had expired and I didn't get a letter saying nothing beforehand.

I went to the dentist yesterday and my dental is supposed to be covered by Delta and I need a Root Canal, pins, and a crown and they don't cover shit! Also dentists are also hustlers as well the tooth that they said need fixing last year isn't the same one this year.
