You have the agency to take the stance that W is the biggest number. That doesn't make that stance any less stupid. You can't say that the analogy isn't misunderstood and then continue to double down on something that's besides the point. Again, the analogy was not a direct comparison between gangbangers and abuse victims. For the last time, that's not how analogies work. This is a really dumb hill to die on.
There will always be people who take things too far, but does that mean we should just ignore reality. If it is a fact, that some of these victims made conscious choices to partake in these crazy lives, that should be acknowledged. Period. If people come along and say that victim compliance excuses abuse, they should be corrected and argued against. That's fine.
