You only know about these things cause they shared them with the world

I was with a woman who said her ex husband was verbally and physically abusive to her. We eventually broke it off, not cause of her being abused but she was broken and didn't do the therapy to get her into a place of healing and she was always assuming I was going to start acting like her ex despite no evidence from me that I was anything like that.

Now, for me personally, no, I wouldn't try to have a relationship with Cassie after she's shared that kinda stuff with me. Not because of the acts themselves but I can only imagine how much therapy she's going to need and I'm not sure I'm built to stay for that ride.

I've known women who were mentally manipulated into staying in abusive situations so I can understand why she went back several times unlike y'all "team accountability" niggas in here who reduce a decade long relationship to just "if she didn't like it, she could've just left"

I personally hold the older heads accountable for leading the youth astray. Young teens will go in the streets and make their mistakes... shit, I done stole out a corner store or two in my childhood. But these oldheads would put guns and drugs in these kids' hands and brainwash them to do their dirty work. Cassie went from having to learn how to give head at 22 to getting pissed on by multiple men at a time in a span of 5 years max. Puff himself has introduced most of us to a decadent lifestyle thru his music when we were kids. Ppl Cassie's age were inspired to crash out in life just by the music he produced coming out of their speakers. Imagine getting dicked down, yelled at and punched on daily to be molded into a concubine. This ain't an average post office worker... this is one of the most influential men in the 20th/21st centuries. It takes a lot more than adult common sense to not get caught up in his vortex.
