Democrats Block Reparation Cali Bill

an apology to reconcile? wow. my great grandmothers and great grandfathers, grandmothers and grandfathers, my mother along with many of their relatives i never knew have been dead. an apology? who are these people that come up with this empty shit? the offspring of white immigrant americans are mouthing around here with the belief that black people didn't do shit in building this bitch. they take dishonest glory in how they manhandled the inventions we came up with and shit. downplay our cultural influence on the entire world and continue treating us like a crop. converting that MF apology into money = $0. many believe that we'd fuck it off but reparations will allow us, at least the opportunity to that challenge. if we collectively fuck it off, let us have that L. don't be disingenuous by instilling fear like reparations would eat us all alive. like it's a monster in a scary childrens story. how dare they not allow us to figure things out for ourselves. many black minds seem co-opted to engaging in the bizarre role of overseer lackey, buying into the 3/4's of a man that can't think fully for himself. america needs to pay for its crimes against our humanity so that we begin to at least save ourselves from ourselves going crazy on each other. grumbling caucasian MF's need to engage this gesture, not as an act, but genuine good faith. the people that matter most are all gone but the foundation reminds us to stay woke till further notice.

that being said let's look at what else was done.. From @AP3.0 tweet

SB 1089 (food deserts) - Not mad at this at all. this can only help.

AB 1815 (protections against discrimination) - same as above

AB 2319 (implicit bias training) - Not sure how effective this will be but it cant hurt

AB 1986 (more books in prisons) - This one irritates me a bit for a few reasons.. im not mad at more books in prison - no birdman.. but more energy and attention should be put towards police unjustly targeting and imprisoning black folks in the first place.

SB 1348 (promotes Black student success on college campuses) - I need to look into what exactly this entails. At a glance it seems to deal with health care professional students and and making sure the programs students attend are accredited.

All in all.. im not mad at this.. it's disappointing that it aint reparations outright.. but it's a start. They need to take the momentum of this and push further for MORE. Much more.

There will be some that shit on this overall cuz it aint straight cash but it aint nothing either..
 
I told yall already. lol. Reparations will never get passed. Don’t be surprised. A they especially won’t get passed as long as the incorrect authority is being used. Like how are you seriously trying to get reparations passed through secular efforts only? You really think men are the source of where all laws come from? No one will take you serious. You have got use the correct authority and make the moral case. That means you can’t ignore those in the house of faith and the leaders there. You can’t ignore Biblical standards. You can’t ignore God’s rules. You think the influential black leaders who helped get the civil rights Act get passed did so by simply making a complaints-based demand? Dr King was a preacher for example. You wouldn’t stand a chance trying to do it any other way. But see, I suspect if you make the moral case then part of that also means you have to make sure your own porch is swept first before trying to sweep somebody else’s.
But whenever you ready, any of yall can get with me and I will give you the angle and points you need to make to take it to these political organizations so they can present a solid case of you really about that life.

ehhhhh.. I disagree. Utilizing the church certainly is AN angle.. I reaaaally dont think it's THE angle though.

Man there’s no other way. lol. We don’t have the army or the money to force gov authorities.

You don’t think the government tries to do the right thing in general?

And isn’t that stepping over bounds, like it’s not our job to decide someone’s motive for them. Let them choose. We supposed to represent what’s true and correct and let people make the choice themselves. And we’ve yet to do that with this issue, so you can’t really say how they would react. And if they do reject it based on us bringing the truth then that is STILL a win for us, because now we don’t have to assume what their motive is, it will be clear and exposed to everyone. And at the end of the day we get to sleep knowing we at least appealed to the correct authority as well. Doing the right thing isn’t about what you get out of it, it’s about doing it because it IS the right thing to do.

For any of the brothers that have complaints about this issue, I’ll tell you the points that must be to addressed to stand a chance in getting reparations passed, so you can pass it along. Truthfully this isn’t gonna matter in the grand scheme as much as y’all online think it will. Most of us didn’t have faith that it was EVER gonna go through or assumed it’d get tied up in the courts and we’d never see a dime anyway.

Reparations for ADOS are a pipe dream. The mere thought of begging your oppressors to be fair is kinda laughable in itself.

Also I’ve learned that black folks in our parents generation are way too easily pacified and pragmatic to demand such a thing.

Most “politically engaged” black people, in Cali, are still on that Kamala train. Sorry to burst y’all’s bubble.

Anybody with a brain already know… white people not gonna just GIVE us reparations. Especially not on no state by state basis.

It’s gonna have to be a NATIONAL movement, led by a true FBA president. Not one of these halfbred non FBA scraps they keep tossing out to us.
