It seems HBO finds a way to bring on a new great series when another is ending. Hopefully this is the one, but it's going to be hard to get as much interest in this since viewers may need some background from the comic or movie to get into it.

I really like the movie, didnt know anything about it before the movie. Perfect universe for a series, not to many special affects and explosions needed.
I have the watchmen graphic novel. If I get around to it I'll reread it before the show starts cuz I like the movie but it dont do it justice.

I liked the movie so much I wish it had the same characters or similar premise (superpowered group of anti-heroes).
Looks like this is just normal people who were influenced by the original heroes wearing masks.
