HBO DC's The Flash ⚡

I saw this on Max foir the 1st time and I actually liked it.

Ezra is just to goofy for Barry, I hope Gunn gives Flash another run
 
Wow man I really don’t think I’ve seen worse CGI ever in a big movie

This is matrix reloaded level CGI despite being 20 years later

This movie started off cool and interesting (not that horrible hospital scene) but the movie got worse as it went along

It felt like somebody made the movie up as they went along..,


“First we’ll have flash go back in time!!

Then the reverse flash knocks him 10 years!

Then lose his powers!

And then the other one gets powers!

then they meet Batman!

But this time he’s a different Batman!

Then they look for Superman but instead they find supergirl!!

And!..and!…..”


Now since I’m typing this while watching I will say they did an incredible job at creating/introducing the reverse flash

I love when shows/movies play with time and how pieces come full circle


This movie ultimately isn’t good, although I appreciated it a lot more the first quarter, and it relies a lot on fan service, it’s too long and god the CGI is offensive lol

5/10 before the time stuff at the end with reverse flash and his mom but this part was great so I bump it up to 6.5/10

Here's the thing....
Flashpoint paradox is a dope comic book story

The animated movie was a cut copy paste... and was perfect

The TV show version changed A LOT but was still be a good version...

And this version changed a lot too.....

Michael Keaton Batman
Supergirl instead of Superman
Bringing back Zod


All of those things were very good additions... like those 3 alone almost save the movie...


But the L's overwhelm. Ezra just sucks as flash..... and this movie literally doubled down on the Ezra flash..... there's no reason for two flashes.... it just doesn't work imo. I feel like the reason is exposition.... but it's just lazy and again doubled down on the worst part of the movie.

Ezra sank this boat.

2 Ezra'sc doomed it to Neverland being recovered.


Flash will never work with an annoying antagonist.

I feel like Nolan's Bale was also the worst actor the series... but he was still better than this.

Fuck Ezra.... he never was the guy for this role, and all the failures should be on gambling that he could carry a franchise

Protagonist* but I get your point. I said the same thing after the film. Ezra never convinced me in his portrayal of Barry Allen

Were all excellent ideas and characters for this rendition.... they worked.

2 Barry's..... did not execute
