From what y'all saying this not worth getting, I don't think I've seen any of you post something positive
its just not a complete game
from a devs perspective, i get it...and unfortunately, its becoming a standard practice to release unfinished games with the intention of patching the hell out of it later
as a consumer, it sucks. At this point, i dont even care about the marketing. I just wanted to play a good game and the potential is there and there are some very interesting game mechanics at play, but it just falls so short in many of the key areas where other open world games suceed. The "good" news is...and this is according to an article i read today about the witcher, is that this game is believed to follow the footsteps of it but you either have to be willing to wait after you've bought it for them to come to fruition OR just wait for the eventual price drop or some game of the year edition that will have all the patches and shit included.
The article chronicled all the patches that the witcher games (each) received over the life of the respective entries in the series. I didnt realize that as much as people loved Witcher 3, that it had a ton of shit that got patched post launch.
Like this not a huge thing per se, but how in tf, in an RPG game, in an open world where you can get all these augmentations in cyber genetics, but you cant change your characters appearance after you initially create them? So it loses a level of immersion. This is one of the biggest criticisms from a cosmetic standpoint, but gameplay wise, it needs a lot of tuning.
