Colin Kapernick Protest

I watched it on kodi and I could've easily turned to channel 4, Im just used to watching sports on kodi now. I think this has to do more with kodi/streaming than it does the protest but Ima let them cook.

I think a lot of people thought the Patriots were just gonna blow KC out and didn't bother to watch

I would not go into business wit P.

- No Limit Sports...fail
- No Limit Films...fail
- No Limit wrestling...fail
- No Limit snack chips...sorta fail cuz i think they still selling them

Nah P...now isn't the time to try and get your hussle on mayne. Sit down somewhere.

so, Ice Cube can start a Big 3, but you draw the line at Master P trying to start a football league?

P can do whateva he wants.

But you tryin to use Kap situation as a way to launch a new league...naw man. Now ain't the time for that.

You wanna start your own league...cool. But this brotha is tryin to address a serious issue in this country. I don't recall Cube piggybacking off this Kap to start the Big 3.

so you are going to marginalize what P is trying to do b/c you question his sincerity?

Word is the NFL is going to sign him to a team in order to dead the lawsuit Kapernick has against them. Would he be a clown to take the hush money after all of this?

Pretty good discussion on the subject.

Tough one.

I mean folks like Micheal Bennett did say they're not negotiating anything wit the league until Kap gets hired.

The issue here...you know that shyt has nothing but sinister intentions. Just b/c they put him on a tram, doesn't mean they're gonna play him. Or keep him for long. This is a blatant attempt for them to say

"See...we got him put on a team. Now everyone can stop protesting and get back to business"

Knowing this, if I was Kap...I wouldn't accept it. If he does, you automatically know they gonna throw it in his face. Smh.

NFL commissioner Roger Goodell, along with several owners and at least two other NFL executives, will be deposed and asked to turn over all cellphone records and emails in relation to the Colin Kaepernick collusion case against the NFL, a league source told ESPN.

NFL owners who will also be deposed include Dallas' Jerry Jones, New England's Robert Kraft, Houston's Bob McNair, Seattle's Paul Allen and San Francisco's Jed York.

Owners were selected for depositions based on their public statements about Kaepernick or player protests during the national anthem.

Other league executives who will be deposed include executive vice president/football operations Troy Vincent and senior vice president of player engagement Arthur McAfee, per a league source.

Jones said he was aware of the suit only through news reports and that he has not been officially contacted by Kaepernick's legal team. Jones said he would do whatever he is advised to do.

Kaepernick's attorney said in October that the free-agent quarterback had filed a grievance under the collective bargaining agreement alleging collusion against signing him to an NFL contract.

The filing, which demands an arbitration hearing on the matter, says the NFL and its owners "have colluded to deprive Mr. Kaepernick of employment rights in retaliation for Mr. Kaepernick's leadership and advocacy for equality and social justice and his bringing awareness to peculiar institutions still undermining racial equality in the United States."

After filing the grievance, Kaepernick tweeted that he did so "only after pursuing every possible avenue with all NFL teams and their executives.''

Kaepernick drew national attention last season when he knelt during the national anthem before games to protest social injustice. His kneeling led to a movement that has spread throughout the league while also being vilified by others, including President Donald Trump.

Kaepernick has not been with an NFL team since severing his contract with the 49ers in March. Sources told ESPN at the time that Kaepernick would stand during the anthem in 2017.
