Jay reached out because he like them and wanted to work with them? That still doesn't negate the fact that Big Pimpin helped UGK reach a new audience.

They already had the streets in the South and West and parts of midwest, so what new audience did they gain? oh I know, that TRL/MTV crowd, white folks
