Pimp's beef was with the Timbo beat, not Jay-z lol Like Bun said in the interview I just posted he was supposed to be on "week ago" which was on Vol 2, he didn't have an issue with Jay.

Breh Pimp said the beat was happy go lucky and UGK introduced Jay to a market (southern market mainly) their fan base to where niggas wasn't on no Jay.

I know what that energy was all about and I know how he felt from the words he said before he made that statement.

The issue is that they can't/won't admit that a NY rapper gave a well revered group in the south like UGK their biggest hit while introducing them to an audience that may not have been familiar with them. I bet if Big Pimpin was a Master P record and it hit they wouldn't have a problem admitting to that.
