Bucket list shit

Woke up to this devastating "left field" news and my first thoughts were:

1. How much of a fighter he was to go through this whilst making all those movies;

2. How much love was in his heart to really represent US and inspire young black hearts and put pride in our melanin;

3. Then unfortunately the realisation of those sickly photos of him with the weight loss...

I had no reason to believe he was sick so didn't think nothing of it, "maybe another movie role portraying a prominent black figure in our culture" I guessed, and just shrugged it off.

Going through this struck a chord with me, especially when he was talking about those terminally ill cancer kids and their need to hold on to their frail lives just to see the BLACK PANTHER movie come out, all the while he is going through his own similar battles. That's some powerful stuff to bear man.

I think the amount of mourning and loss 2020 has given so many folks around the world, be it personal or even inspiring figures like Kobe or Chadwick, serves as a reminder to cherish those that matter the most to you and also pursue your own goals and happiness with every breath, every step you make and everyday you get to see another sun rise.
I truly believe that with the last few years Chadwick had, he was living that type of life, and seeing the joy he was bringing to so many people whilst suffering his inner torment is probably what kept him going for so long and as bravely as he did.

Rest in Peace, Rest in Power and Rest in Love.

Damn. I've learned that if you randomly start seeing post about some on social media it's never a good sign. Then I looked him up on Google dreading what I would find. RIP
