This American animation is a hard thing to watch when you're use to anime.
I think the highlight is how they humanized Dracula, especially at the end.

Man for a brief...JUST A BRIEF moment...I wanted Alacard to stall Dracula out when he kept repeating "I'm killing my boy..."

I loved how they humanized him towards the end. I was as if reality finally set in, and he realized Alacard was his child, and not some random man.

Then I also liked how Alacard was finally able to break down and let go that emotional wall he had up.

Dracula is a good villain in this. He's sort of like IW Thanos. He's not just acting out of pure evil. He kinda thinks he's right. I mean he is going for revenge too, but he does honestly believe that humanity is a plague that has to be stopped for the good of the world.
