I took it for granted back in '96. I was burning a hole through my Muddy Waters and Hell on Earth tapes among other things and found it overrated then.
I heard it front to back tonight for the first time in about 20 yrs. Bruh compared to what we hear today this shit is Illmatic. Forgot how ill Family Business, The Mask and the title track really are. Poor John Forte. But yeah chalk me in with the ones who agreed this joint is beyond certified.

Definitely a classic imo. Like others have mentioned though, I wouldn't call it a classic among the classics. Think I'd be able to name 10 albums I'd play before the fugees, but its all down to preference at that point. Classic album though and still gets played
