Jake Paul can exist. It doesn't bother me that he exists. But it does bother me when he disrupts the current boxing climate for his little money grabs.
He fights a semi retired guy like Deontay Wilder.... That's fine... We've all accepted that wilder isn't going to compete on the championship level anymore.. He's not in anybody's p4p list. There's no major fights that fans wanna see that will get derailed if he fights a guy like Paul.
Tank on the other hand is still in the mix. A lotta people including myself wanted to see that situation with Roach resolved. If Tank is going to go up in weight.... Fight at 140/147... Hrs still very relevant and important in the fighting scene.... Fighting a guy like Paul is putting a lotta things on hold.... And it's not like Paul fights are real fights.. We all saw Tyson pulling his punches. Same thing with Mayweather. Hrs not fighting credible fighters in their prime.. And more that he is
. It's different someone 70 pounds lighter. Nothing about this i wanna see.
Yet watch how much casuals and people who know nothing about boxing talk about this, get invested, offer the absolute worst takes about boxing,.... And i just hate when foolishness takes the front seat in the only live sporti really care about.
