The first Tom Molineaux fight had something like 18,000 people from all over the UK (maybe world) making their way to a muddy field in the middle of the countryside and camping out to watch the fight, a huge effort to watch a sporting event when your transport is horse and cart etc Molineaux would had KO'd him if the crowd didnt invade the ring to give Cribb time to recover...
Lol I just enjoy the history of the sport, its interesting with mad stories you would never get with any other sport... Also mad its nearly 400 years old, older than America... Molineaux/Cribb 1 is probably the first internationally covered sporting event too...
