Everyone in boxing seems to be picking Canelo and one of the main reason being his size and Bud jumping up two weights, which is a valid point but is not like Canelo is natural Super Middle either (or a big SMW) and going up and down in weight like Canelo has done normally catches up with you... Plus Canelo is patient, short and stocky which I think will suit Bud...
So yeah, I dont think the size will be a massive issue for Bud to overcome... Canelo doesnt push the pace either so its not like Bud will have to work at an usually fast pace whilst carrying all that new extra weight...
Though I was suprised when both fighters stood next to eachother and them be around the same hight, for somereason I thought Bud was taller, which has given me some pause for thought...
If Canelo is smart he would push the pace but hes not that kinda fighter now, he'll happy lose rounds and back himself to finally time an opponent but if Bud is able to carry that new weight for 12 rounds and still fight on his toes and switch hit then he should get tons of success...
Still, Canelo has never been stopped or dropped and if he can eat GGG's bombs for 36 rounds and barely blink then theres no way I see Bud stopping him at this weight and Canelo hasnt stopped anyone for nearly 5 years either so I think it will go the distance...
Im gonna go with Bud by decision... Though getting a decision over Canelo in Vegas isnt easy, he will need to win the rounds clearly and not let Canelo have the last say in the final moments of the rounds...
