That the majority of white voters voted for Trump is, in my opinion, proof that any talk of reparations would drive white folk away. They already believe that reverse racism is a bigger issue than actual racism.

What would I recommend? It's difficult. Whenever anyone says that black people should only vote for candidates who have specific black policies I agree with them in principle, but then, as I said already, I believe that any politician doin' that would lose and there aren't enough black Americans to make that sort of move politically viable.

So I think black Americans are just gonna have to vote for the most socialist candidate and after the improvements socialism brings to the black community, hopefully more black leaders come along, there will be more educated black people and hoooooopefully they'll be in a social climate that is more welcomin' to reparations

Do they really think they can get white politicians to even admit that it's a debt owed?

Yep and on Obama's last day in office he gave $221 million to Palestinians, but yet some black people STILL feel that Obama will do something for us as a group and he's BEEN out of office, or that he actually did something for the group. Trump manipulated the fears of millions for his benefit.... I'd be very weary of the white politicians who comes off as pro-black and open towards the reparations conversation..

One white politician in the running actually brought up reparations and she didn't have to be forced to answer. The woman is named Marianne Williamson. She actually spoke about tangibles for BLACK PEOPLE not "minorities". She is STILL going to have to explain in detail what the reparations are, and how it will be distributed.

As for results. The point of this awareness that is taking place is about letting politicians know that ya'll work for us, not the other way around. We're also not giving votes away like we did in the past. The other groups don't do it, and neither will we. The candidates want are vote, they have to give us something in return period. I'm loving what I'm seeing.

Yea, our community still needs to build it's on economic base, like the Asians and other groups do. That starts with practicing group economics (SUPPORTING BLACK BUSINESSES) Dr. Claude Anderson states that our money needs to bounce 16x before leaving the community.
