They are basically taking the Fresh Prince story and reimagining it. That technically is a reboot, but that's not what people in here are even complaining about.

They are bringing up things like Martin. No one was talking about rebooting Martin. They were talking about continuing on with the Martin show essentially now after time passed. The same as what they did with Full House. Something like that can have an impact on the legacy of the original show. Something like this would not because a reboot essentially establishes the show as something new and different.

Don’t know if it’s something I’d really watch but then again if we’re of the age where we grew up watching Fresh Prince we’re probably not the key demographic they’re looking for with this anyway they’d be looking to get kids 16-25 It’s not supposed to appeal to us in the same way.
