Welcome To aBlackWeb

Weird ass episode last night. That was Donald go over in make up and prosthetics wasn't it? Lol at the Sammy Sosa jokes.

So its like Al's episode (robbed of his time) with an MJ twist (man robbed of his childhood) and the Baby Jane movie (celeb robbed of their sanity trying to rob someone's freedom).

Yep. And to add to that, also the Van episode where she was robbed of her time that was spent with Earn in a relationship she felt wasn't going anywhere. The theme is prevalent all throghought the season even if it isn't as conspicuous as many would have hoped.

I really have to applaud Donald Glover for Some of the creative decisions he's making this season. Usually when shows return to TV after winning awards and other accolades, they prefer to play things safe. Glover on the other hand decided to eschew conventional expection altogether. and the show is better off because of it

Also I think “Teddy” was actually “Benny,” and the dude in the basement was his dad. He was gonna keep Darius cuffed while he went and killed his dad, the source of his pain. Then he was gonna try to kill Darius and make it look like Darius had killed the dad while doing a house invasion.
Benny was the dude in the wheelchair with the mask on, when Darius was walking down the hallway to the door you saw Benny black then the picture with Bill Clinton kind of covered up and then you saw another one with him all covered up with the mask on that was in the wheelchair. Teddy was the father.

Also the way he is so nonchalant about the father's abuse. Defending it's use early on and so focused on the actual piano playing while acting like the visible abuse is nothing to be alarmed by when watching the archival footage. He's like Joe Jackson gone full sociopath.

Another meh episode
Word, I was looking at the responses of everyone tryna anaylze this shit, the last dope episode was where the one dude who is the symbolism of Drake,Migos,Wiz, and all the new hiphop acts

Told the engineer that we ain't the only one with hands that can harm him.

I mean those episodes had direction and connection to what has already happened. Aside from a few jokes, the last three epiodes been kinda heavy on character development, but with Atlanta and Donald Glover..

It's hard for you to really trust that Atlanta is even gonna be around for a season 3-4, so he really wasted 3 episodes. They even added the chick to the barker

This shit is all over the place

This whole episode was about MJ. Benny was the black/real side of MJ that he repressed because of childhood trauma. In the end he couldnt keep that side of him locked up so he basically killed himself to get away with it all.

So it's the black Seinfeld show? If so cool it's a show about nothing and this episode fits BUT if it's not that then this episode was not needed.
There is a lose story but overall its jut about the characters lives. No real arch or drama to be resolved.
