Alternatives to playing Madden/NCAA Football

The best way to make a better a game would be to start from scratch and build a new code from the ground up.
That possibly can't be done in a year. But if they came out and said hey this is the same game here is a roster update we're working on new code.
Being truthful would go a long ways. But it's a business so that'll never happen. Competition would bring innovation but it seems as though MUT is their cash cow and it's getting milked every year.

Another thing that holds them back is the NFL wont allow them to “skip a year”

they expect a new game every year

And if you notice the “big” or most noticable changes happen every other year so expect 22 to have the new features...etc

Id rather them do like a roster update plus minor feat updates every odd year and charge like 25 bucks

and release an actual full game every even year.

that would give them more time to actually fix a lot of the legacy bugs...change presentation alladat

also they usually do a full rebuild when they move to next gen...so the PS5 version may be way better and have some changes for franchise mode since they have the time to work on it before the holiday season

The shit EA doing ain't gonna fly once next gen starts. It'll look cool with graphics but that's it. There shouldn't be any excuses still though right now. Idk the last time I bought Madden. It's been years. Nothing I've seen makes me want to buy it.
I still follow Operation Sports for more in depth knowledge and it's been the same story every year.
The main reasons why I don't buy anymore is gameplay and the lack of depth in Franchise mode. I used to put countless hours into that mode. Smh.

I caved in and bought it at launch this year lol

I actually preordered lol

I usually wait till after the new year starts and get it used for like 25 bucks or catch that sale on the PS Store

I think most people would actually appreciate these sports game companies being honest and saying you’d have to wait an extra year for major game features.

Release a roster update for maybe $20-$25 and I think people would be cool with that.

But that’d never happen now, they fucking announce the player ratings on ESPN and Twitter. They care way more about the bells and whistles than the gameplay

Idk why sports games who produce games every year haven't adopted this yet. You drop a new game and will support that game online for years while still supporting previous years games online.
Idk I feel there has to be a better way for the consumer to get more out of what they're paying.

Was looking for this thread

The company I posted somewhere in here that was trying to make a college football game got "jacked" by their attorney who took all the money people gave to the game or something

Allegedly

The #drop EA hashing on Twitter is HILARIOUS, somebody posted a meme that

said at this point Madden is just a roster update, then it had the Spiderman meme of

2020 pointing at Spiderman's that said Madden 2011-2019 Lmaooooooooooo

#NFLDROPEA was trending yesterday on social media. Today EA is giving out codes for free access to the game if you post #Madden21 to get it trending.

Shits sad, if they put that same effort into the actual game as much as they try and do for press, they wouldn’t be in this mess.

This dude posted a vid of the current Madden and the receiver caught the ball then did an animation where he breaks the tackle and almost stumbles and he started doing donuts. The guy playing the
game was like "bruh wtf is this ?" LOL
