700 billion dollars spent annually on defense and y’all feel like what’s keeping them at bay is y’all’s ability to wield two 9’s like Warren Sapp.
The presence of foreign jihadists, particularly in anti-government groups, steadily grew throughout the Syrian Civil War. In the early insurgency phase mid-2011 to mid-2012, their presence was negligible. In the mid-2012 to late 2013 escalation phase, their numbers grew, but they were still far outnumbered by Syrian resistance fighters (only around twelve hundred foreign anti-government jihadists were killed in Syria in 2013).[4] Throughout 2014, with the rise of the Islamic State, the Al-Nusra Front, and other groups, their numbers drastically increased and they partnered with and absorbed Syrian rebel groups, both jihadist and non-jihadist. By 2015, foreign jihadists outnumbered Syrian jihadists and other rebels in casualty rolls (16,212 anti-government foreign jihadists were killed in 2015 compared to 7,798 Syrian anti-government rebels killed that same year), a trend that carried over into 2016 (13,297 foreign jihadists and 8,170 Syrian rebels), and 2017 (7,494 foreign jihadists and 6,452 Syrian rebels). However, although the numbers of casualties remained high in this phase, arrivals slowed: according to the United States military, foreign fighters coming to Syria and Iraq in 2013-2015 averaged 2,000 fighters per month, but by 2016, this figure had dropped to less than 500 fighters per month and decreasing.[5] By 2018, the proportion of foreign fighters had far decreased (following heavy losses in the bloody battles of 2015-2017 and various interventions by foreign military forces), and Syrian rebels were once again the majority of anti-government casualties (2,746 foreign jihadists killed compared to 5,852 Syrian rebels).[6][7][8][9]
According to the Syrian Observatory for Human Rights, at least 65,726 anti-government foreign fighters (almost entirely jihadists) were killed in Syria up to May 2020, constituting nearly half of the 138,202 anti-government fighters killed by that point. Additionally, 10,045 foreign fighters on the side of the Syrian government were killed by then (1,700 Lebanese Hezbollah and 8,345 others, including 2,000+ militiamen of Liwa Fatemiyoun) and 264 Russian soldiers and mercenaries.[10]

You can’t have a civil war if you don’t have guns or weapons. The founders of the Free Syrian Army were Turks and Syrians. They lived in Turkey. Did the leaders of America’s civil war live in Canada? America and Turkey trained fighters from Syria and all over the world to go in and fight the Syrian government.
Kip
Hezbollah involvement in the Syrian Civil War has been substantial since the beginning of armed insurgency phase of the Syrian Civil War in 2011, and evolved into active support for Ba'athist government forces and troop deployment from 2012 onwards. By 2014, Hezbollah was deployed across Syria.[8]

There were absolutely Syrians fighting their government. The majority were throwing rocks tho. America stepped in with bombs and guns and told Syria they couldn’t fly planes to fight people invading their country with American support.
In war people do have allies, but if the ally is the founder and aggressor and the mastermind that’s kind of different no? You saying that Syrians welcomed them into their cities and helped them overthrow shit is rewriting history. They were literally fleeing from one city to the next when “rebels” or isis or anyone showed up because all hell would break loose. America said YPG were the best in the world?
The YPG was backed by U.S. air power and fighting alongside a coalition of Arab and Assyrian militias. Also within their ranks, though scantly reported, was a group of about 75 hardcore leftists, anarchists and communists from Europe and America.
Belden, who is 27, started tweeting photos of the front shortly after arriving in Syria in October. The first widely shared image showed him crouched in his YPG uniform
Belden had no military experience before joining the YPG. He lived in San Francisco, where he arranged flowers for a living. Before that, he was a self-described lumpenproletariat, a lowlife punk and petty criminal with a heroin habit who started reading Marx and Lenin seriously in rehab.

So the best fighters in the world are taking guys from Boston who do heroin and have no military or police experience? Really? America would have said ANYTHING to keep that shit going. They was even HELPING Isis go against Bashar.
I don’t think Bubba or Dwayne or Larry or Ted or anyone is going to help me fight the government . I don’t want to fight the government. I want to protect myself and my family. Criminals don’t follow laws and crooked police don’t either. That’s it. I’m not fighting the government. Let’s say all Americans give up every single gun. Why wouldn’t the police do the same?
I like how yall pretend gang related shootings or shooting a club up aint a kind of mass murder.
Shows a certain detachment from reality.
Must be awesome
Wait wait wait...Gang violence is a symptom of what?
Would gang violence cease to exist if guns are taken away?
How detached are your from the reality of America?
Wait wait wait...
You think I am antigun?
You serious?
I am anti obtuse.
marketing purposes? Wow
The US only gave them weapons to faster destabilize the region. Lol They don’t give a fuck about them. That’s why they let Turkey come in and fuck them up after they fought off ISIS. You don’t know what you talking about at all. You just rambling off bullshit.
I mean you’re the one not answering any questions or even pointing anything out. You just saying a bunch of shit from television. You told me to search what the US said about YPG. I don’t need to look up anything. America let them know what it was when they was begging for help when Turkey was on the way. When America said they were going to train them for the border Turkey lit them up and and America left them for dead. America is literally the reason YPG even had problems with Isis.. it was like American backed troops fighting American backed troops. Lol
you have no idea what you taking about..you tried to use a false equivalence with Syria to be dramatic about gun control.
You the same dude who said he could not sleep for days after the capital attack. Of course you don’t support guns or protecting yourself. You think the government is your daddy. Of course you don’t want a weapon you want the safety of your government protecting you.
That’s now what happened tho lol
Alot of this is besides the point. Lets not turn this into a thread about the Syrian Civil War.
But ill play just a little bit. What you are saying here is like saying the American Civil War wasnt a civil war because Britian helped the confederacy with guns and training.
Or the American revolution wasnt an American war because the French gave America training, guns, and soldiers.
In wars, mfers have allies.
In Syria, groups came from outside of Syria but the Syrian people welcomed them into their cities and joined forces with them. And they brought guns. These guns were given to them by Saudia Arabia, Qatar, Turkey, America or whoever else. The point is, Syrian people allowed them into their cities and together they over threw the Syrian govt in those cities.
Syria was split up. The North was taken over by Kurds, the South West by al Nusra and the FSA, and The East by ISIS. Either way, depending on where they were, they were invited in by Syrian people to fight the Syrian govt.
And the Syrian govt rocked all of them.
This makes your point even worse in needing guns to fight the govt.
Cause the Syrian govt fought real militias trained and backed by international powers, and still won.
Cause they had airplanes.
If anyone read this far, ill take it even further. The YPG fought and defeated ISIS. The YPG had American support. THE AMERICAN MILITARY SAID THE YPG WAS THE BEST ON GROUND FIGHTING FORCE, AND WAS THE BEST IN URBAN COMBAT IN THE WORLD.
Get that. The best on ground fighting group in the world. Not some hicks with guns. And what happened to the YPG? The US stopped supporting them, and Turkey invaded and destroyed them cause Turkey had tanks that could shoot for 15 miles out and airplanes.
So the group that defeated ISIS and Al-Nusra and everyone else, and even defeated the Turkish military when they physically invaded, lost because Turkey surrounded those cities with tanks, closed all entry and exit points, and bombed them from the air.
Conclusion, the idea that you can protect yourself from the govt with your little 9 is dumb.
And America does not have near the disciplined fighting militias that were in Syria. ISIS, Al-Nusra, YPG, FSA, them mfers were all legit militaries being backed by all sorts of govts. They had international supply lines and everything.
And they mostly all lost due to being starved out by real militaries.
And yall think fat ass bubba with his 50 guns gon help yall fight the govt. Lmaoooo
Let’s say we change the law
How do you get the parents to get rid of the AR they’ve had for 20 yrs?
That's documented. Shouldn't be too difficult. Don't hand them over go to prison.
Store owners don't hand over the information send them to prison.
So raiding houses?
