he recently filed a motion to amend their custody agreement after she refused to hand the kid over to Nas when he came to pick his son up over Easter as agreeed in the custody agreement

The specific reason she did this is because he filed a $22,000 lawsuit against her last week for breaking their custody agreement. The suit is for lawyer fees or something. It's more about her trying to keep total control over their son than it is about money. She says in the video "he shouldn't be able to just pop up thinking he can regulate" even though last month they came to a joint custody agreement. Up to that point she had full custody. He's going to win the lawsuit. Kelis is losing the complete control she had before. What she says about him not paying child support until 2012 and not consistently paying child support until 2016 can't really be confirmed just from her talking. There was also alimony discrepancies when she got audited.

Nas claims in new court documents that when he tried to pick up their 7-year-old son, Knight, for Easter weekend, the “Milkshake” singer refused to let him take the little boy, according to The Blast. The rapper also claims that she has stopped him from picking up Knight at school when it is his turn to do so.

Nas noted that they did not have a special arrangement for the holiday weekend, which also included the first two nights of Passover. He says Kelis insisted on having Knight with her for Passover, and that he would have worked out an arrangement if he had known how important it was to her.

Nas also included alleged text messages from Kelis in his court filing. “The agreement we both agreed on is a guideline nothing more,” one message read. “You said and I quote ‘we can make it whatever we need and talk about it I just want something on paper’ end quote.”

Nas also threatened to take her to court again in another message, to which she allegedly responded, “Take me dummy. Take me. Have you not seen I’m not afraid of you anymore!!! … I will not be intimidated by you and we are going to court anyway.”

Per The Blast, Nas is looking to get order to reinforce the couple’s custody agreement. He also wants Kelis to get sanctioned.

Kelis, 38, and Nas, 44, tied the knot in 2005. Kelis filed for divorce when she was seven months pregnant.

Yea it all comes down to custody over the kid. They're both spending hella money on lawyer fees. She needs to just follow the agreement. This isn't going to help her. Now she's on some "if I can't have my way then we're all going down".. shit repeatedly said in the interview "this is war". I watched the whole hour long interview twice.
