How many gallons is ideal for a certain price, shit to buy with it,
General knowledge
no shade, but you might wanna start off with a beta fish
not a lot of maintenance required
depending on your lifestyle, you can get away with feeding them like once a day or every other day
if you wanna splurge for something bigger, I would recommend a 5 gal
rule of thumb, one fish for every gallon of water in the tank, so 5 fish for 5 gal
dont put near windows, feed once a day, and get freshwater fish
oh and a thermostat and water heater

Stick with schooling fish that don't get any bigger than 3 inches if you following this advice.
No Oscars/larger Cichlids or Pacu.

Aquariums are hard af to maintain. I gave my shit away.
I even killed the Beta fish twice. Might kill Beta next.
thats saltwater and that shit can get expensive af to keep up
if you aint got that kinda time to devote to it, i wouldnt do it

My tank looked similar to this. I think it was 50 gallons, if not more. I regretted taking it the day we had to clean it. Shit took HOURS.
