Preciate it fam. I think my biggest challenge was dealing with contractors. Trying to find good reliable folks that ain't gonna beat you over the head price wise has been... Interesting. Been learning to do alot of shit myself as well which is good

My aunt lives in Georgia but has a rent property here

She's legit just had to get on the road and pop up on them contractors to get shit done.

I had to relax my expectations a bit.. shit happens and not everything is always gonna happen on time an on schedule.. I think what I was/or am still currently tryna figure out is when to be like aite.. charge it to the game or when to be like aite fuck that I got a schedule to keep

I actually feel rushed. I told him I wanna start tomorrow. He asked to start today. He came and demolished pretty much. I think he tryna get it done before Thanksgiving.
 
My ex wife and I remodeled my old house and it just gave me anxiety

I hated walking through an unfinished house

No the contractor is fine. He’s highly recommended. I had to take 4 trips to get my flooring. They had to break it down cause it weigh too much. 30 miles back and forth and I’m still not done ! I need a man.

Phew thats a ways to go! Youll be happy when its all said and done tho. Its just a visual upgrade or does the flooring help with noise too? I was looking to do something similar next year sometime

Visual but I’m just learning about the noise. The people who owned the house previously did some cheap ugly shit. I’ll find a picture.

The stairs is visual too. I’m getting rails instead of this wall that came with the house.

I’ll send pics when I get home.
 
The apartment got them old school three handle shower/tub joints kinda like this

I was just tryna upgrade the handles but they dont really sell them in the stores like that. I gotta order them but they aint gonna get here in time. I might have to dig out the tile and replace the manifold to get one of these types instead
