You can't label urself as pro-black when you only apply that ideology externally. that's like calling out a lack of diversity in the media while making some cash designing skin bleaching posters. you can call it compartmentalizing but really, it's hypocrisy.

what you can argue is that it's a an extremely personal of hypocrisy, since you can still lobby the gov, go to protests or chitter chatter in your local black book club when you leave your white wife or husband at home. maybe even have them engage in efforts as 'allies'.

howeever you wanna spin it, yes you can still contribute to the black community when you have a white SO. you just can't sincerely claim to be pro-black. if you were pro-black, you'd prolly have a preference for your own.
