American actors who’ve experienced these other type of Americans in their lives, people actually like them or actually are these people they play. Give Americans actors the depth to play the realistic version of these people.
Uk actors play the caricature of these characters, which stand out better in film because none of us are dynamic in actuality. Put a video camera in your house for month, I don’t care who you are, you’re fucking boring.
The hood is fucking boring, hiphop and film would have those not from it believe that it’s live. It’s absolutely mind numbingly boring 80 percent of the time.
Lebron James the man is boring, Micheal Jordan, Kobe, Shaq, all of us in reality are boring. Yes we have outstanding moments that can tell a story but we are boring, in reality. American actors seek to bring forth the reality of a man.
UK actors bring forth, the story of a man. That plays better on film because we are only with that character for moments and in those moments we want the caricature, not the reality. It’s easier to play the caricature when you yourself aren’t too aware of the reality. That’s why for film they are better actors.
But for roles that lean more toward stuff like Malcolm X or historical type shit dealing with black people in America. American actors are better because they can tune into the reality better.
