After the beef: Ross. Before: 50.

Overall I gotta say 50 since his high point was over kinda fast but way higher than Ross and with more impact.

But both of them are kinda trash and mediocre in the big scheme of things.

I don't like Rick Ross just on GP.

But... Dude has been extremely consistent with his output. Fiddy had two albums and been on a decline ever since. Ain't NOBODY checkin for a 50 cent release right now whereas Ross is pretty much guaranteed an audience. I think it's pretty safe to say that 50 will never hit that GRODT level of popularity ever again, meanwhile Ross has been pretty steady in popularity.

Gotta throw this one to Ross.

50 had 2 albums?

When was Ross the top nigga in Rap(i.e. Snoop, Jay, Ja, Em, Drake, K.dot)?

He's been consistent but 50's run as the top nigga in rap when he dropped has to account for something in this discussion....Ross may have been the #1 nigga in the South buuuuut TI, Luda and Wayne can prolly have something to say about that claim......idk this is tough if you take away all the antics and feelings out of the equation and just go to the music

This is tough, cuz I liked neither initially, and they both grew on me the last 5 years...

I wanna say 50 off top. But lemme think

And his mixtape dominance, his career shits on Ross's

Being real, I don't count mixtapes for shit. An artist's legit, actual releases matter the most towards your career.

If your mixtapes are superior to your released music you're backasswards. Your releases should always be the shit that shines and mixtapes are what keep your name buzzing.

Ross has been more consistent with putting out music these days, and I enjoy his albums more more so I went with him. *shrugs*
