Try Kentucky Bourbon Barrel Ale. It's starting to get distributed more widely now. It's like 8% and aged in whiskey barrels too.Had a beer aged in a whiskey barrel for 2 years. It was good as fuck and like 13% abv.

This^^ only time i do mixed drinks is if im at a resturantI take all my liquor straight. Vodka, bourbon scotch, gin, etc. Typically on the rocks.

I mean, I could always tell hip to cop something like a chocolate porter or something along those lines but I'm assuming dude ain't trying to have to go to a specialty shop to cop some beer for the night.
